The Caniac Collector

There comes a time in anyone"s life where they wonder how they ended up doing something they love. In my case, it is wondering how I became a Caniac. Having grown up in Florida hockey was something of a foreign game to me. I knew it existed but chose not to understand it. Fast Forward to January of 2016 I was stationed with the Navy on Cherry Point in North Carolina. Members of my command were invited by Justin Faulk, Jean Michael Liles,and James Wisniewski as part of the Hurricanes True Defenders Program. The Canes fell that night to Vancouver 2-1 in OT but from that moment on I was hooked. Since then I have made it my passion/obsession to collect every card of every player ever to don the Hurricanes Sweater and this blog will serve as a tracker, as well as a way for me to share any other unique piece of Canes merchandise I can get my hands on.
